The number of participants taking part in the October 2009 ethics poll on Ethicsinpolicing.com were not sufficient to have full statistical relevance however the poll did give the following indication:
'Do you think police officers with rank should set higher ethical standards than officers they supervise?
75% of respondents felt police officers with rank should set higher ethical standards than officers they supervise, 25% did not feel they should set a higher standard.
