Boston Police Corruption Case

In Boston, a city reeling from a soaring homicide rate, a video-taped drug deal is the latest piece of evidence in a disturbing police corruption scandal. So far, three officers have been implicated in a scandal that includes drug running, identity theft, running a sex club and participating in insurance fraud.

The tape, made by an undercover FBI agent, shows Officer Carlos Pizarro sipping champagne as he and Officer Robert Pollido celebrate the close of one major drug deal and the promise of more.

On the tape, a voice prosecutors identify as a Boston officer, discusses plans with an undercover FBI agent about moving shipments of cocaine and heroin.
