Police in polygamist towns cou

Police in the border towns of Colorado City, Arizona and Hildale, Utah may be stripped of their badges because of their loyalty to polygamist leader Warren Jeffs.

Police are meeting in Saint George, Utah Monday to consider demoting the officers.

Colorado City and Hildale are home to the FLDS church. People there have no televisions, internet access, or contact with the outside world.

A separate investigation in Utah accuses the town's officers of misconduct for being more loyal to Jeffs than they are to their police oath. An attorney for the officers says the accusations are unfounded and the officers have repeatedly demonstrated loyalty to their jobs.
