A FERRARI and boat-owning former cop once accused of receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from Sydney ATM thefts has admitted he lied about his assets in other court proceedings.

Police are facing corruption p

SCOTLAND Yard this week confirmed an anti-corruption investigation concerning six Newham-based police officers.

The probe is understood to centre on allegations that evidence was buried to undermine the trial of three men in an alleged plot to handle stolen vehicles worth more than �4 million.

A police spokeswoman said that as a result of investigations a senior police officer has been suspended, four other officers are now on restrictive duty and a sixth has been warned of the investigation.
