Guttenberg Police Officer Susp

The city of Guttenberg has suspended a police officer for misconduct.

Police Chief George Morteo says they're investigating serious allegations against Sergeant Jerry Moser.

Morteo would not be specific, but says the allegations have come from members of the community and involve the misuse of city property.

The city's mayor told TV9 that Moser was informed of a letter of termination, and that he has until January 14th to request a hearing.

When we contacted him by phone, Moser told TV9 he had no comment but that he and his union representative will ask for a hearing. No charges have been filed.
