Police President presents anti

Prague- Police President Vladislav Husak presented a plan to fight against corruption among the police, under which police will not collect fines anymore as they will have equipment enabling the use of payment cards.
Husak said that police in Prague and Central Bohemia already have 50 such devices.

The police head said that in-built cameras started to be installed in patrolling police cars.

Husak said that an ethical code for policemen has been drafted. Moreover, an anti-corruption commission of about 20 members including the police president, will be established soon.

He said that a police anti-corruption phone line has already been functioning for some time.

"Unfortunately, the line is not used as often as we expected," he said.
