Llewellyn sceptical of police

Tasmania's Police Minister says he does not believe there are any instances of bullying in the state's police force.

Police Commissioner Richard McCreadie is looking into concerns raised by members of the force's Special Operations Group.

It is understood the issues include concerns about insufficient training time, interference by senior personnel in frontline decision-making and bullying.

Police Minister David Llewellyn says the matter is being investigated.

"I've had a meeting with the Police Commissioner this week, my regular meeting, and he's given me a report about it," he said.

"He's taken all the issues that were presented to him by the Special Operations Group on board, and he's working through them with the Special Operations Group as one would expect."
