How to catch this thief at pol

A thief inside police headquarters?

A policeman was left with this puzzler on Monday night after he lost personal items inside his locker at a police office in Camp Karingal, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City.

SPO1 Rodrigo Barrameda Jr., who is detailed at the QC police Criminal Investigation Division (CID), discovered that his locker inside the CID investigation room had been forcibly opened on March 6.

Barrameda told fellow investigators that the padlock to his locker was missing, as well as his backpack containing his service firearm, a .38-caliber revolver.

Also missing were P500 in cash, a jacket, a pillow and an apron, he said.

Barrameda discovered the theft at around 6:30 p.m. as he readied himself for the night shift, according to a report in the CID blotter.

Efforts to find the bag and valuables proved fruitless, police said.

It was not immediately clear if the suspect was a civilian or another policeman.
